Our Story continued from the Home Page …

They played around with Tricksy and Bonnie for about a year, finding all the help they could conger up! They gave a special thanks to Steve Edwards, from Queen Valley Mule Ranch, Steve was a saving grace!

Meanwhile, winter neared and Mike got a little, well should we say crazy. He had been surfing the Web in lure of more draft mules! One night it happened, Mike came out of the office and told his wife Rashell, he “thinks it would be neat to own a nicely match hitch.” She said well how many? “Oh’ he said "about 8 blond Belgian draft mules.” “Eight!” “Are you crazy?” Then it hit Rashell like a ton of bricks, he was dead serious!

An even bigger adventure soon began, with their buns clenched and their eyes half shut, they've been having fun ever since. They both have had their days when they feel the mules could all go down the road. The bottom line is each and every one of them fills a huge void in their hearts and they all would be missed. Mike and Rashell have 11 draft mules, one mini-mule and one horse. Now the only two things wrong with their horse – his ears are too short and there is nothing in between them!
